In Loving Memory of
John Randall Grant
John Randall Grant â€" age 60 passed away Thursday December 24, 2015 in Port Arthur. John was born in Beaumont, Texas December 7, 1955 the son of Bobby Grant and Isabel Crawford Grant. He worked as Boiler Maker for over thirty years. Those of you that met John knew that though he was very limited on what he had to give, but someone else always came first. He always loved with his whole heart and never wanted to hurt anyone's feelings. He was proud of his grandkids (near and far) and loved to see pictures from days of old. He was a coffee and tea addict which made him a perfect southerner. He was a Cowboys fan to the core, but would watch WWF in a nanosecond. He loved science and wonders and was a big kid at heart, especially with the latest technology with his precious grandchildren. The one flaw that John had was that he was a procrastinator to the umpteenth degree. He was going to make it to see such and such, going to call so and so later, going to visit here and there in just a few more days....unfortunately his days became numbered; now there is no more time. John Grant will be remembered as strong and powerful, crafty and innovative, the wonder and excitement, the forgiving and kind man of God that he was. John was preceded in death by his father Bobby Grant, and his brother s Tommy Grant and Terry Grant. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother Isabel Grant Barren, son John Michael Grant, daughter Kristi Cowen and her husband Barry, brothers Bryan Grant and his wife Pam, Ronnie Grant and his wife Cindy, and a sister Lisa Kimball and her husband Lecel. In addition he leaves five grandchildren Samantha, Wyatt, Ben, Carson and Ava and one great-grandchild Aubrey. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. A graveside service will be held 2PM Wednesday December 30, 2015 in Anahuac Cemetery. Allison Funeral Service 11101 N. Travis Liberty, Texas has been entrusted with the arrangements.
