    Gloria Patricia Stanfield Marks â€" age 63 passed away Monday January 25, 2016 in Houston, Texas. Gloria was born in Brookfield, Missouri June 8, 1952 the daughter of the late Raymond T. Stanfield Sr. and Bernice Aletha Craig Stanfield. Gloria enjoyed training horses, playing cards, and visiting with relatives. Gloria started her career in Law Enforcement prior to joining the military, in military she served in the US Air Force as a Staff Sergeant as a Security Police Supervisor from 1975-1982. After her military service she went on to receive her Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting and Finance, at Phillips University, in Enid, Ok., She then went on in the remaining years in the accounting field, retiring from TXDOT with over twenty years of service. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of thirty-seven years David B. Marks of Hull, sons: Staff Sgt. David Bowman Marks II and his wife Maryanne of McChord AFB, Takoma, Washington; Ray Marks of Orange; and Samuel A. Marks and his wife Frances of Hardin. She also leaves her sisters: Eve Sprang of Kansas City, Kansas; Marilyn Cahoon of Casa Grande, AZ.; and Carolyn Stabler and her husband Roger of Scottsdale, AZ.; and a brother Raymond T. Stanfield Jr. and his wife Faye of Weston, MO. In addition she leaves her grandchildren: Krysten, David III, Landon, Alyssa, Connor, Kassidie, and Hallie Marks. A memorial service will be held 7PM Monday February 1, 2016 at Allison Funeral Service, 1101 N. Travis Liberty, Texas. Visitation for Gloria will be held two hour prior to the service from 5-7PM.
