Tamera “Tammy” Chamberlain Farthing
CONROE - Mrs. Tamera “Tammy” Chamberlain Farthing, 35, went to be with the Lord on Friday evening, May 1, 2015.
Born July 18, 1979 to Mike and Brenda Chamberlain of Santa Fe. Tammy had a wonderful life filled with loving family members and lots of great friends. Growing up, she was involved in barrel racing, 4H and showed animals at the county fair. She was a graduate of Santa Fe High School Class of 1997 and earned her Associate’s Degree from College of the Mainland. Tammy worked for Mainland Allergy Clinic, SAIC (Space Shuttle S & MA) and was currently employed as a supervisor for Exterran Energy Solutions.
Survivors include John Farthing and their son Burton Farthing; Jessika Farthing and Jarett Smith; parents, Mike and Brenda; grandmothers, Georgia Chamberlain, Elva Creppon; numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 9, 2015, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, with Brother Ed Thierbach officiating. Interment will follow at Hayes Grace Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Darrell Blasingame, Jack and Clifford Chamberlain, Reese and Blaine Creppon and Anson Drake. Honorary bearers will be Stewart Fenske, Jason Herman, Richard Hughes and John Pennington.
Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, (409) 925-3501.
The family would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to everyone for their loving prayers and support. Tammy was a beautiful flower plucked from the garden of life way to soon.
