TEXAS CITY - Mrs. Bonnie Lynda Flores passed from this life Wednesday afternoon, May 6, 2015, in Galveston.
Born June 7, 1941 in Gallipolis, Ohio, Mrs. Flores had lived most of her life in Galveston County. She loved cooking and worked as a cook for various nursing homes. Bonnie enjoyed puzzles, reading, horses, dogs and elephants.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Garnet Carson; daughter, Tracy Flores; brothers, John Luckeydoo and Adrian Carson.
Survivors include her husband, Victor V. Flores, Jr.; son, Eddie Flores and wife, Kristen, Victor M. Flores and wife, Jackie, Robert Flores; daughters, Cindy Carrillo and husband, Calistro, Mary Ramirez and husband, Dennis Ruiz, Deneen Flores; brothers, Chuck Luckeydoo and wife, Linda, Steve Luckeydoo and wife, Pat, Tim Luckeydoo and wife, Debbie; sisters, Sandy Baker and husband, George, Marrion Kidwell and husband, Woody; grandchildren, EJ, Noel and Kinsley Flores, Gary Garcia, Jr., Mashana Arana, Jacob Ramirez, Javier Perez, Jr., Kimberly Perez, Marco, Vicki and Talana Flores, Robbie, Timothy and Mariah Flores, Robert and Patrick Flores, Omar Valentine, Janene Coleman and Coleen Sanders, Skyler Carter, Jonathan Flores, Nena Carter, Jasmine Nichols, Cecil and Julian Lazar; numerous nieces, nephews, several great grandchildren and friends.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2015, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, Interment will follow at Hayes Grace Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Calistro Carrillo, Eddie Flores, Robert Flores, Javier Perez, Jr., Jacob Ramirez, Jose Ramirez, Danny Rembert and Dennis Ruiz. Honorary bearers will be E.J. Flores, Victor Flores and Victor V. Flores, Jr.
Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, TX (409) 925-3501.
