GALVESTON ~ Mrs. Alice Mae (Chauvin) Bradshaw passed from this life Monday evening, April 27, 2015, at her home in Galveston.
Born September 23, 1934 in Morgan City, LA., Mrs. Bradshaw had been a resident of Galveston for most of her life. She enjoyed genealogy, sewing, gardening and painting, and always had a good cup of coffee waiting.
Preceded in death by her husband, Earl Eugene Bradshaw; parents, August and Alice Randi (Gustafson) Chauvin; brother, August “Buddy” Chauvin and sister, June Marie Schneider, her survivors include her daughters, Randi Sue Wade (Phil) of Galveston, Beverly Claussen (Darryl) of Santa Fe, Alice Earlynn Chessher (Lester) of Village Mills; son, August Earl Eugene “Augie” Bradshaw (fiancé, Teresa Tillery) of Pearlington, MS.; grandchildren, Amber Lynn Claussen, Darryl “DJ” Claussen, Jr., (Shannan), Jeremy Chessher, Matt Wright, Harry Chessher (fiancé, Jessica Darder); great-grandchildren, Riley and Cadence Claussen and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 1, 2015, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, Pastor James Benson officiating. Interment will follow at Hayes Grace Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 10412 Highway 6, (409) 925-3501.
