In Loving Memory of
Wayne Keith Muckleroy was born December 22, 1959 to his parents Louis Keith and Doris Muckleroy in Whittier California, and passed away at the age of 56 on Tuesday, March 15th in Longview.
As a boy, Wayne attended school in Longview. He had a few hundred lifelong friends that he kept in touch with often. The laughs and memories are everlasting. He attended The Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints in Longview and served as a missionary. More recently, he'd taken pride in having breakfast, almost daily, with a group of friends very dear to his heart.
Mr. Muckleroy was a man dedicated to his family. He loved being outdoors, jazz music, fast cars, cooking, and making others smile. There was never a stranger when Wayne was around. He spent most of his adult life traveling and working in the construction business as a carpenter.
He was lovingly known to his grandchildren as "Papa or "Grand-dad". To these babies, he hung the moon. He always told them how proud they made him. One of his biggest joys was singing funny songs to make them laugh. They had the time of their lives while fishing and helping him around the yard.
Wayne was preceded in death by his father and grandparents. He is survived by his wife and best friend, Cynthia Newsom Muckleroy, his daughters Amber, Ashley, Adrienne, Ariel, Aubrey, Emily, Erin; Two sons Aaron, and Jeffrey, as well as their husbands, wives and grandchildren. He had a very big loving family which included his sisters, Louise, Alida, Belita, Amy, and Patty, his brother, Burt and their spouses and children. Many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Services for Mr. Muckleroy will be Saturday, March 19th at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Longview.
