    Funeral services for Jimmie Louise Prior Watt, 83, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home in Henderson, with burial to follow at Strong Cemetery under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 14 at the funeral home.

    A longtime resident of Henderson, Mrs. Watt was born in the Rusk County community of Church Hill on Aug. 11, 1932 to Gladys Leopard and Clarence Prior. She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Travis Whitehead, and by Thomas Watt of Henderson, whom she married later in life.

    Mrs. Watt retired from the Henderson school district, where she had worked as a teacher’s aide to special needs students. She was also employed by the Texas Rehabilitation Commission in Marshall, where she lived for many years, before moving back to her hometown of Henderson.

    She died on Saturday, March 12 in Tyler, following a brief illness.

    Mrs. Watt is survived by four daughters, Karla DeLuca of Marshall, Marla Boone and Sharla Rounsavall, both of Tyler; and Darla Lyons of Richardson; sons-in-law Barry Boone and Dave Lyons; a sister, Marie Sachse of Chandler; grandchildren: Amanda and Tony DeLuca, Lauren and Rick Worley and Drew Lyons, all of Dallas; Brent and Summer Barron of Denton; Zack Neel of Asheville, N.C.; and Lacey Neel of New York, N.Y.; one great-grandchild, Ella Marie Worley of Dallas.

    Pallbearers will be Zack Neel, Drew Lyons, Tony DeLuca, Bruce Barnes, Billy Sachse, and Richard Rounsavall.
