Mrs. Valda Edney Warren Wise
Funeral services for Mrs. Valda Edney Warren Wise, 69, of Henderson, will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 in the chapel of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home with Rev. Riley Pippen and Dr. Doug Haning officiating. Interment will follow in Kilgore City Cemetery under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Tuesday, March 15 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Wise passed from this life on March 13, 2016 at Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview. She was born August 1, 1946 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to the late John Bell "Pete" Edney and Joyce (Cheshire) Edney. Valda grew up in Kilgore but spent most of her life in Henderson. She retired from Pritchard and Abbott Inc. and took care of her home. Mrs. Wise loved her daily brunches and shopping. She was a family oriented person and some would call her an "athletic mom." Valda, or "Nene" as she was known to family, was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: husbands, Richard Warren and Karl Wise; daughter, Jennifer Warren; and brother, Bill Edney.
Survivors include: children, Valerie Hawkins and husband Andy of Kilgore, Chris Warren and wife Beth of Tyler, Cindy Rogers and husband James Miller of Kilgore, Candi Cunningham and husband Terry Allen of Henderson, and Megan Warren of Kilgore; brother, John Edney and wife Lois of Kilgore; sister, Judy Patton and husband Ronnie of Kilgore; many cherished and beloved grandchildren, Lauren, Jacob, Brian, Stephen, Mallory, Alicia, Christian, Nicholas, Katie, Miranda, Alex, Ashley, Michael, Brittany, Brandon, Cameron, Keely, Keane, and Kendall; great-grandchildren, Gage, Mia, Sara Beth, Micah, Carson, Zara, Adleigh, Nathan, Sawyer, Trey, and Clay; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Christian Diosdado, Nicholas Diosdado, Jacob Ham, Brian Ham, Stephen Ham, Michael Cunningham III, Keane Allen, and Cameron Allen. Honorary pallbearers will be Alex Nabor, Kendall Allen, Brandon Allen, Nathan Richardson, Carson Ham, Gage Ham, Sawyer Squires, and Micah Carver.
