    Funeral services for Mr. Wayne Keeling, 88, of Brachfield will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, March 26, 2016, in the chapel of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Monroe and Rev. Jerry Phillips officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home.

    The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Friday, March 25, at the funeral home.

    Mr. Keeling passed from this life on March 22, 2016 in Henderson. He was born January 7, 1928, in Mt. Enterprise to the late Edgar and Gracie Keeling. Wayne proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon for 58 years. Wayne retired as a tool and die maker for Dresser Cleco Inc. and he also raised cattle. He loved the outdoors and always had a big garden to feed his family and share with others.

    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ray and Maurice Keeling.

    Survivors include: wife of 65 years, Ida Keeling of Brachfield; son, Billy Keeling of Brachfield; daughters, Cathy Staerkel and husband Mark of Leander, and Donna Perry and husband Ronnie of Spring; brother, Jimmy Keeling of Montgomery; grandchildren, Bethany Moreno and husband Chris of Spring, Adam Staerkel and wife Marci of Austin, and Ronnie Perry Jr. and wife Heather of Houston; and five great-grandchildren.

    Pallbearers will be Ricky Keeling, Gaylen Keeling, Euel Faulkner, David Yuel, Chris Moreno, Adam Staerkel, Ronnie Perry Jr., and Kenny Keeling.

    In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Alliance at 211 Winchester Dr., Tyler, TX 75701, or the Texas Baptist Home for Children at 629 Farley St, Waxahachie, TX 75165.
