In Loving Memory of
Harvey Maxwell "Max" Taylor, 89, a resident of Fort Worth, Texas, died peacefully on Wednesday January 6, 2016 in North Richland Hills, Texas.
Max Taylor was born on October 26, 1926, the son of the late Harvey Allen Taylor and Dixie Brazzeal. He proudly served in the US Navy for 2 years as a Seaman First Class, and later would marry the love of his life, Mildred Louise Talburt in April of 1955.
Max was an avid wood worker, spending many hours in his shop carving and cutting things into what his family and friends would later cherish for many years. He was a member of the Wood Turners of North Texas, and attended a Non Denominational Church.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend. He was always smiling and helping others. He will be sorely missed.
Survivors: wife, Millie Taylor; children, Carole Gwinn and husband Larry, Donna Gwinn, Taylor (Paulette) O'Connor; grandchildren, Laura Gwinn, Michael Gwinn, Kimberly Rawlinson, Dena Hollon, Jana Garner; great-grandchildren, Haley Goff, Taylor Rawlinson, Hanna Rawlinson, Katie Hollon, Ashley Garner, Evan Garner, Jaden Westmoreland; Nephew, Lynn Taylor; and numerous cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by brother, Elmer Taylor.
Memorial Service: 2 p.m. Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Arlington Community Church. 1715 W Randol Mill Rd, Arlington, TX 76012. Burial: 2 p.m. Tuesday at the DFW National Cemetery.
