Craig Lee Bunton
Craig Lee Bunton, 49, a native of Dallas and resident of Ft. Worth, died on Friday, August 29, 2014.Memorial Service: Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014 at Colonial Baptist Church, 1514 E. Bardin Road, Grand Prairie, Texas, 75052.Craig was born on December 11, 1964, the son of Raymond Leroy Bunton and the late Ruby Jean Clemons. He was raised in Grand Prairie, where he excelled in sports, especially football. He played defensive tackle, and was fondly remembered as "kamikaze sack attack". He is still listed on the football records as being one of a few that could bench press 350 pounds. After service in the US Navy, he would work for LTV, General Dynamics, Boeing and Bell Helicopter. His employment would send him to various places around the world, including South Korea and Israel.Craig loved restoring cars, and was especially fond of his 1971 Duster. He would spend countless hours with his family, tinkering with cars or watching football. Those who know him best remember him with a heart as big as his body! He will be deeply missed.Survivors include his son; Joshua R. Bunton; father, Raymond Bunton; siblings, Debora Tanner and Michael Bunton.In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Bunton.
