    James Stuart Kendrick

    Birth Date: Dec 20th, 1927 Death Date: Oct 16th, 2014
    Jim Kendrick, 86 of Graham, went to be with Jesus October 16, 2014. A memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday October 19, 2014 at Westlake Chapel Church, west side of P.K. Gary Riley and Dave Autrey will be officiating. A viewing will be held prior to the service. Arrangements are under the direction of McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home.

    Jim was born December 20, 1927 to C.R. and Emma Aldredge Kendrick in Sweetwater. He graduated  high school in Winters, Tx. and attended Texas A&M where he was a member of the corps of Cadets. Jim also attained the rank of Eagle Scout to the Order of the Arrow, and was a scout leader. Jim was involved in radio and tv repair his whole adult life. He owned and operated Kendrick’s TV for 52 years retiring in 2009 due to health. Jim served as a deacon at the Westlake Chapel Church.

    Survivors include: his wife of nine years Sybil;  son, Stuart Kendrick; daughters, Julie Brown and Melanie Lynch; sisters, Marianne Welch and husband Bill and Janet Vaughan and husband Arlen; step-son, Jack Hawkins; step-daughters, Jan Harris and husband D.P., and Julie Hull and husband Garry; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.

    He was preceded in death by: his parents and his first wife Norma Bedford Kendrick.

    Memorials may be made to the Baptismal Fund of Westlake Chapel.
