John Raymond Hajovsky
John Raymond Hajovsky, 83, of Louise, passed away January 14, 2016. He was born on September 2, 1932 in East Bernard to the late Jno and Mary Beran Hajovsky. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion Post 251 and an honorary member of Louise Volunteer Fire Department. John worked for Alcoa Aluminum for 32 years before retiring in 1984.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Joyce Tvrdik Hajovsky of Louise; daughters, Renee Popp and husband Bobby of Louise, Rhonda Turner of Victoria and Ramona Schmidt and husband Doug of El Campo; son, Michael Hajovsky and wife Serena of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Kristi Munoz and husband Marco, Brittany Popp, Cody Popp, Justin Turner and wife Sarah, Dustin Turner and wife Sarah, Jeremy Hajovsky and wife Evelyn, Jeff Hajovsky and wife April and Cara Michaliszyn and husband Nick; 11 great-grandchildren and brother, George Hajovsky and wife Bernice of Ganado.
John was preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law, Jesse Turner; 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Visitation will begin 1 PM Sunday, January 17, 2016 at Triska Funeral Home with a Rosary being recited at 5 PM. Funeral services will be 2 PM Monday, January 18 at St. Procopius Catholic Church. Burial with military honors will follow at St. Procopius Cemetery under the auspices of American Legion Post 251.
Pallbearers are Cody Popp, Justin Turner, Dustin Turner, Mateo Munoz, Kristian Munoz, Jeremy Hajovsky and Jeff Hajovsky.
