    Mary Ann Dimas, age 80, went to be with our Heavenly Father on Saturday, March 19, 2016 in Corpus Christi, Texas.

    She was born on June 6, 1935 to Pedro and Matilda Galindo.

    She graduated from Roy Miller High School in 1954. Mary Ann was employed by Corpus Christi Independent School District. Mary Ann participated in the GI Forum while in high school and after graduation with Dr. Hector P. Garcia. She will always be remembered for her love of laughter, quiet nature, sense of adventure, service in the community and devotion to her family. She attended Cathedral of the Palms and loved her Pastor Gloria Farjardo very much. Her true love above all was her Lord and Savior. Mary Ann was an amazing mother. She loved her family very much, nothing she wouldn’t do to love and minister to us on God’s word. With her kind heart she always thought of others before herself. She will be terribly missed. Mary Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Matilda Galindo, daughter Lynn Jerine Dimas and her husband, Alfredo S. Dimas, Jr.

    She is survived by her children, Lavarne Dimas, Yolanda Dimas, Maureen Dimas, Alfred T. Dimas III (Kenia), Virgil Dimas (Jennifer); numerous grand and great grandchildren.

    Visitation will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 27, 2016 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel.

    A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 28, 2016 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel.

    Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.

    Pallbearers will be: Joseph Hernandez, Eric Hernandez, Jarred Dimas, Trent Dimas, Trey Dimas and Samuel Pena.

    Honorary Pallbearers will be: David Gamboa, David Keamey, Benny Barrera and Bryan Salazar.

    In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to KBNJ Radio Station and Cathedral of the Palms Church.

    We would like to extend our gratitude and thanks to the nurses and staff on the 7th floor, the ICU and the Comfort Care Unit for all they did for her and the family. A very special thank you to Dr. Pappas, Dr. Tavares and Dr. Sutton for their devoted time, effort and dedication.
