In Loving Memory of
Bhagwan Ramchand Advaney passed away into the loving arms of Jesus on Saturday, March 12, 2016 after a short illness. He was born on August 30, 1926 in Bombay, India to Ramchand and Kishini Advani. In the early 1950â€™s he moved to the United States and attended the University of Texas in Austin, where he achieved highest honors in the degree of Chemical Engineering. In Austin, he also met the love of his life, Eunice Aguirre and they were married in 1957. They had two children, Diana and Raj. They moved to Corpus Christi in 1962. As an Aerospace Engineer, Bhagwan was a dedicated Civil servant for the Corpus Christi Army Depot until his retirement in 1990. He was also an enrolled agent and opened up Adâ€™s Tax Service where he enjoyed his passion preparing taxes for many grateful clients. He not only took pride in his business but truly relished the friends he made during his time in business. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him for his very gentle, kind and generous spirit. His family was his life, always supporting and loving them to the very end. He left a great legacy for his family and friends to remember him by. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, caring father, grandfather, brother and dear friend.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife Eunice, his parents Ramchand and Kishini, his brothers Dhamo, Nari, Sahijoo and Atmo.
He is survived by his daughter, Diana (Dempsey) Speer; his son, Raj (Rosalva) Advaney; granddaughters, Sheila and Tara and step grandchildren, Paul, Jose and Shannon and his brothers, Taro (Lani) and Kalu, several nieces, nephews, and his dear friend Blanca Aguirre.
Visitation will be held from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Seaside Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Seaside Funeral Home with Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
