Mrs. Suzanne Soape Robinson
Funeral services for Mrs. Suzanne Soape Robinson, 46, of Clayton, Texas will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Sill Waters Cowboy Church with Rev. Matt Comer officiating. Burial will follow in Clayton Cemetery under the direction of Hawthorn Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday, March 14, 2016 from 6 â€" 8:00 p.m. at Hawthorn Funeral Home. Mrs. Robinson went to her heavenly home on Saturday, March 12, 2016 surrounded by her loving family in Clayton.
Mrs. Suzanne Lou Soape Robinson was born April 25, 1969 in Longview, Texas to Jimmy Lee and Charlotte Ann Shell Soape. She was raised and schooled in Carthage, graduating from Carthage High School with the class of 1987. Suzanne furthered her education at Panola College and Stephen F. Austin University, graduating with a degree in Education. She met and later married Corey Wade Robinson on August 2, 1994, celebrating 21 years of marriage. Mrs. Robinson, a devoted and loving teacher taught at both Elysian Fields and Carthage High Schools. While at Carthage, she coached the J.V. cheerleaders and 9th grade basketball team. She was a member of Stillwaters Cowboy Church. A kindhearted and loving wife, daughter, sister and mom, Suzanne loved to spend time with her family. She especially liked to watch her girls rodeo and play ball.
Mrs. Robinson is survived by her loving husband, Corey Robinson of Clayton; parents, Jimmy and Charlotte Soape of Carthage; children, Josi Cassity and husband Klayton of Gary, Mackenzie Robinson of Carthage and Reegan Robinson of Clayton; sisters, Sonja Chastain and husband Jason of Granbury and Stacie Tondreau and husband David of Carthage; granddaughter, Colee Joe Soape of Gary; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Brad Robinson, Bruce Whitaker, Brian Pride, Grant Soape, Garrett Soape and Jason Chastain. Honorary pallbearers will be David Waldrop, David Tondreau, and Klayton Cassity.
The family suggest memorials be made to Stillwater Cowboy Church.
