Mary Louis Weaver
Mary Louis Shannon Weaver peacefully departed this life on February 22, 2016, at the age of 87 years and 11 months. She was born to James Wallace Shannon and Ruth Mary Hathaway Shannon on March 26, 1928, in Houston, but raised in Ingleside, Texas.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leycester Darrell Weaver, Sr.; son-in-law, Robert L. Vyoral; and brother-in-law, Roy Vosloh; Mary Louis is survived by her sister, Georgia Ruth Vosloh; her son, Darrell Weaver and wife, Nan; daughter, Darlene Vyoral; grandchildren, Adam Weaver, Patrick Weaver, Jeremy Vyoral and wife, Amy, and Rob Vyoral and his wife, Mindy; great grandchildren, Savannah, Dylan, Wyatt and Devyn Vyoral, all of Baytown; nephews, Gordon Spencer and wife, Janet, Stephen Weaver, Michael Dean Weaver, and Wallace Vosloh; and nieces, Tracey Garrett and Michaél Vosloh.
Mary Louis always shared memories of her wonderful childhood in Ingleside and the many friends who stay connected throughout their livesâ€¦.Mary Louis and Lee liked to travel and go fishing and camping. She was a talented miniature furniture maker, making all the furniture for the beautiful dollhouse Lee built for her. She liked to do ceramics, as well as cross stitch, even teaching her grandsons this craft. Mary Louis loved her family and enjoyed the afternoon coffee time when everyone came over for coffee and snacks. She was always an avid reader and collected a large library of books. Mary Louis will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.
The family would like to thank a special team of doctors, Dr. Pamela Medellin, Dr. Mary Hewitt, Dr. Matt Koshnevis and Dr. G. Koshnevis for the healthcare and comfort they provided for Mary Louis.
On Wednesday, February 24, 2016, the family will receive friends from 6 â€" 8 p.m. at Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, February 25, 2016, at Cedar Bayou Grace United Methodist Church, with Reverend John Newsome officiating. Burial will follow at the Masonic Cemetery. Honoring the family as pallbearers will be Adam Weaver, Patrick Weaver, Rob Vyoral, Jeremy Vyoral, Wyatt Vyoral and Wallace Vosloh.
