In Loving Memory of
Rachel Diane Manzella
Rachel Diane Manzella went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 12th at 42 years of age after a long struggle with cancer. Born in Houston, Texas to Peggy Manzella Davis and Joseph Manzella on June 3, 1973, Rachel lived and raised her children in Kerrville, San Antonio, and Austin, Texas.
Rachel was a loving daughter, mother, sister, and friend. She will be remembered for her strength, her great faith in the Lord and deep love for God, her caring heart, and her ability to bring joy and strength to others. Rachel was an inspiration to her family and friends and will be dearly missed.
Rachel is survived by her daughter, Tazmine; her son, Jeron Riddick (wife, Rose) and her granddaughter, Mia; her mother, Peggy Davis; her father Joseph Manzella; her brother, Ty Davis (wife, Kelly, and their children, Cassi, Traven, and Aiden); her grandmother, Betty Kessner; her aunt, Joan Hendricks; her foster parents, Angela & Aaron Bryant, and their children, Ashley (husband, Shawn, & children, Kairi and Alana), Samantha, Darrian, and Avian. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Lawrence Deshayes; Pops, Alton Kessner; aunt, Shirley Kelley; uncle, David Deshayes Sr.
A Going-Home Celebration will be held at One Chapel Church (5508 US-290, Austin, Texas 78735) at 6:30pm on Monday, November 16th for family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are welcome to the "Rachel Manzella Memorial Fund", benefiting her surviving minor daughter, Tazmine, through the "Tazmine L. Jackson Trust".
