In Loving Memory of
Phillip Raymond Milligan Sr.
Phillip Raymond Milligan, Sr., age 80 of Liberty Hill, Texas, died October 28, in Georgetown. He was born August 23, 1935 to parents Charlie Horace and Hazel Dove Milligan, they preceded him in death. Phillip was a United States Air Force veteran, a member of the Leander Assembly of God Church, Leander, Texas and the Carpenters Union. He was married to Catherine in Luling Texas on December 11, 1954, she preceded him in death. He was a skilled carpenter and worked in maintenance at the Leander Independent School District, loved to woodwork, garden and grow trees. He helped build the Leander Assembly of God church in Leander.
Survivors include his daughters, Mary and husband Edward Louk of Liberty Hill, Bobbie and husband Jeff Stohr of Spicewood and Annette and husband Edwin Keller of Pflugerville; and his son, Phillip Jr. and wife Diane Milligan of Hobbs, New Mexico; his sister, Charlotte and husband Donald Luce and his brother, Thomas and wife Sherry Milligan all of Ingram, Texas; his grandchildren, Cory Levlon, Chris and wife CC Levlon, Eric Bobbitt, Shannon and husband Zach Spence and Matthew Bobbitt all of Austin, Texas, Barbara and Matthew Milligan both of Hobbs, New Mexico; and a host of many dear family and friends.
A celebration of life funeral service will be held Monday, November 2, at 10:00 A.M. at the Leander Assembly of God Church, 1006 S. Highway 183, Leander, Texas, followed by Military Honors under the auspices of the United States Air Force and Interment at the Liberty Hill Cemetery, 16101 State Highway 29 West, Liberty Hill, Texas. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 1, from 2 P.M. till 4 P.M. at the Austin Peel and Son Funeral Home, 607 E. Anderson Lane, Austin, Texas. Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation or the Leander Assembly of God Church, Leander, in care of the funeral home. The Milligan family has entrusted the care of their loved one to the Austin Peel and Son Funeral Home of Austin, Texas.
