    Jill Wallace, R.N., 61, of Andrews passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2015 in Andrews.

    Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 31, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Andrews with Rev. Brant O’Connor, officiating.     She was born on December 28, 1953 in Mobile, Alabama to Everett Lamarr Eaton and Vivian Zenobia Rowher. She was raised in El Paso, and she received her GED, while living in St. Joseph, Missouri. She raised 2 children alone, while she worked her way through nursing school and earned her Associates Science Degree in Nursing. She worked for Medical Center Hospital in Odessa for 15 years and Permian Regional Medical Center in Andrews for 15 years; retiring in 2014. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Andrews. She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 sisters; and 1 brother.

    She is survived by her 2 daughters, Cassandra Driver and husband, Neil, of Andrews, and Melissa Wallace-Carpenter and husband Clifford of Helena, Montana; 1 sister, Maxine Brown and husband, Don, of Platte City, Missouri; 1 brother, Buddy Eaton of St. Joseph, Missouri; 9 grandchildren, Jacki Wallace, Haylee Wint and husband, Tyler, Grace Driver, Neela Driver, Devon Carpenter, Michael Miller, Ashley Miller, Brianna Carpenter, and Priscilla Wallace; 1 great grandchild, Eli James; and many other children who have bonded with her. She was a Gran to everyone!
