Adolf Mireles, 65, of Andrews passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 in Odessa.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life at 2:00 pm Monday, January 11, 2016 at McNett Funeral Home Chapel in Andrews with Owen Suggs speaking. Cremation and services are under the personal care of McNett Funeral Home in Andrews. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6-8 pm at the funeral home. He was born on May 19, 1950 in Uvalde, Texas to Eusevio Mireles and Ruby Maldonado Mireles. He was raised in Andrews and graduated from Andrews High School in 1970; where he ran track. He entered the Army after graduation from 1970-1974. He was a lifetime resident of Andrews and had worked as a carpenter. He married Azucena "Sue" Saldivar on August 1, 1970 in Andrews. He was very family oriented, loved sports, and especially loved his grandkids. Adolf had a love for life and helping others. He would have never hesitated to help someone in need. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahâ€™s Witness in Andrews, and had helped on some construction projects for different Kingdom Halls. He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 daughter, Melissa Mora; and 1 sister, Angie Mireles.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Mireles of Andrews; 3 daughters, Monica Alvarado of Seminole, Dominique Vasquez of Andrews, and Melanie Guerrero and husband Anthony of Andrews; 3 sisters, Alice Franco of Midland, Mary Anderson of Andrews, and Dora Mireles of Greeley, CO; 3 brothers, J.R. Mireles of Andrews, Frank Mireles and wife Gracie of Cactus, and Richard Mireles of Midland; 14 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.
